To find which religion is dominant in a region, the campaign map may be searched using the religion filter provided. Should the player choose to convert to a new religion, their faction's overall population must have at least 35% of that religion to convert. Factions also suffer or gain religious penalties when engaging in diplomacy with each other depending on their chosen religious affinity. If a province has a population with several religions, it can have a negative effect on public order and thus lead to revolts.
